Jennifer was born in Houston. She was baptized Catholic and attended Christian schools until her graduation from St. Pius X High School where she met and later married David. They have been married over 12 years and have two boys, ages 4 and 8. They live in Oak Forest and enjoy spending as much time as possible outdoors, traveling and swimming.
Throughout her attendance at The University of Houston, Jennifer taught at a Montessori preschool where her love for early childhood education flourished. Upon graduation with a B.A. in Journalism, she began a Montessori training program, taught 3-year-olds in a traditional school setting, and attained her Yoga Teacher Certification.
Jennifer is a licensed childcare facility Director in the state of Texas and a certified teacher for Early Childhood Education through 4th grade. Her experiences volunteering with the Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Houston, Lifehouse and at the Beacon Center of downtown Houston have fueled her strong sense of passion for others and her desire to contribute to community, with the root of this contribution stemming from the example of Jesus’ passion for others.
