Organist/Choirmaster

Michael Nelson is a graduate of West Chester University of Pennsylvania (May 2015), where he majored in Computer Engineering and Music. He learned to play the organ in fifth grade and has been playing the instrument for church services since eighth grade. While a student, Michael maintained a number of church positions, most recently as Director of Music/Organist at St. John's Presbyterian (Devon, PA).

Michael started as Zion's Organist/Choirmaster in February 2016. He names the fellowship and sense of community he experienced here as reasons he was drawn to our congregation.
